Zu den Mainboards die getestet wurden habe ich jew. die dazugehörige aktuelle BIOS-Version benannt, sowie die Version der Platine.
In der Mainboardübersicht der Sockel 939 Mainboards wurden noch die alten Testmethoden verwendet. Diese älteren Tests, wurden mit Soundleistung getestet.
Die neueren Tests (Sockel 775, sowie AM2) betrachten den Sound nicht näher. In den ktuelleren Tests wurde mehr auf die Overclockingmöglichkeiten geachtet, weil die aktuellen Prozessoren (besnders Intels Core 2 Duo) sehr viel Taktpotenzial haben. Außerdem wurde noch auf die Kühlung näher eingegangen.
